(Senior) Account Manager
Principal Responsibilities:
• Achieve annual sales order targets for targeted accounts.
• Ensure Account Development Plans are created and implemented for each account, including the development of Global and Regional Account Management Plans. This includes designing and following a regular call plan and accurately disseminating customer requirements.
• To be responsible for total customer satisfaction with The company within the targeted accounts by modeling customer service behavior across the region. To ensure that market intelligence is collected and disseminated and effectively communicated to Marketing and Product teams.
• To be seen as the personal interface at all levels with the Customer, especially at Senior Management/Board level.
• Establish a favorable climate with the Customer so that The company is regarded by the Customer as the “Communications Company Of Choice”
• To have a clear understanding of the Customer’s business and the associated strategies, plans, competitive position and trading methods in order to create a partnering concept with The company to build solutions.
• Keep the customer up to date on The company’s products and services and to ensure the customer appreciates and understands The company’s medium and long term strategy.
• Ensure that all The company products and services that are sold to the customer are provided, installed and maintained in a quality way and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Identify new business opportunities outside of targeted accounts, through a sustained program of following up on referrals, sales leads, and cold calling.
• Maintain effective working relationships with all business units in order to provide sound commercial and technical solutions in a timely manner.
Qualification Requirement:

• Owns customer problems and “does what it takes” to satisfy customer needs, within the The company code of conduct.
Commercial and Business Awareness
• Demonstrates an understanding of how account management contributes to revenue generation and cost reduction
• Strong Business acumen
• Understanding of business processes
• Understanding of commercial and contractual issues
• Understanding of financial concepts and terms such as ROI (return on Investment), balance sheets, taxation, CAPEX (Capital expenditure), OPEX (operating expenditure) etc.

• Takes appropriate action to achieve all targets; outcome and results focused.
Teamwork
• Demonstrates understanding of team roles and commitment to team decisions
• Able to work with all parts of the company and external partners to deliver a solution Effective Communication and Impact
